Frankfurt's best ramen. I would like to eat here once a week.
We ordered and picked up a Barachirashi to go. I am really enthusiastic about the creativity and quality of the food. The price is expensive but absolutely justified! We remain loyal customers ❤️
I was told that it's probably been a long time since I made it with Katsusando takeout. So it wasn't delicious at all. It was very delicious last time. It's a little terrible. Both go to pick up around 12:00. The second time the meat was cold and hard and the bread was pliable.
The best ramen in Germany, tastes like home in Japan! The atmosphere at Muku is also very nice and the service is always wonderful.
Highly recommended, reminded us of our trip to Japan in February. Very good ramen, great atmosphere and friendly, competent staff. Tip: Try the tsukemen if you want a change from normal ramen! It is worth it :)
Most delicious Ramen in whole Frankfurt! :)
After trying all the ramen restaurants in Germany, this one (next to Takumi in Düsseldorf) is our clear favorite! Thanks for being so delicious !! <3
Ramen is delicious, but the portion is relatively small. muku-ramen is a bit too oily. The eel is delicious too! Fried chicken recommended! The four people spent a total of 96.5 Euros.
Ramen temple in Frankfurt. Authentic Japanese, it has an excellent sake card to accompany any dish. Book well in advance, the place is small.
Ok
Authentic Japanese restaurant specializing in ramen preparation. These are available in many variations with homemade pasta. For starters there are e.g. Sashimi, okonomiyaki and many other small dishes with and without seafood. There is also a quite extensive range of sake. The service is extremely helpful, willing to explain and friendly. A table reservation is compulsory and you should take care of it at least a week in advance, as you can hardly get through to the restaurant due to the large number of callers.
It was amazing! I would especially recommend their bluefin tuna sashimi!
Amazing ramen. Perfect portion, could be less noodles and more broth. Good place to try one or two dishes
Formerly an absolute favorite restaurant, but unfortunately no longer convincing with the new, much smaller and more expensive menu. Ramen is now also significantly more expensive, with fewer side dishes. Kaedama only possible on request and only "as an exception". Pity!
Unfortunately not worth a recommendation. It all started so nicely .. we arrived and I thought "wow so cozy and cheesy." And then the disappointment took its course. The menu is not for vegetarians or vegans. When asked (which was very kind of you) I got a vegetarian ramem. For the starter there was the only meatless dish on the menu: zucchini pickled in Japanese mustard. The starter was good. The ramen, however, was not even close to its price! The broth tasted like vegetable broth (finished product) and there were hardly any vegetables in it. I got eggplant, two pieces of tofu, spring onions and the nori seaweed on request for one euro. It must also be said that I paid as much for my ramen as my friends paid for normal ramen (which contained nori leaves at no extra charge). The ramen didn't even have a boiled egg and soy sauce or sesame wasn't on the table either. To make matters worse, after a 40-minute stay we were relegated to our seats and should please finish our sake at the bar table in front of the door, as it would now be other guests' turn. Nobody had told us beforehand that our stay was limited! Just a cheek!
[Follow me on Instagram to stay up to date - eatwith.thien] #Miso Ramen ??? Bowl of miso based noodle soup with minced meat, onions, and spring onions. On request that I would like the broth a little spicier, there was an extra charge . #Karaage? Four fried chicken fillets with mayonnaise and a slice of lemon . #Gyoza? Six fried dumplings filled with pork and vegetables . ?Prices: ?15€ ?10€ ?8€ . @ramen_muku_frankfurt has been my favorite japanese restaurant for Ramen so far. I haven't been there for a year, so I wanted to eat there again. As a starter, I ordered fried chicken fillets and fried dumplings for me and my companion. ?The dumplings were delicious. The minced meat and vegetables were flavorful. The dough was soft and there was still a thin, crispy layer sticking to the bottom, which gave the dish a crunch. ?The fried chicken fillets were excellent and there were very large portions in contrast to other Karaages in japanese restaurants. The breading was crispy and the meat inside was very tender. By squeezing the lemon on the chicken fillets and dipping them into the mayonnaise, the chicken fillets got a refreshing, acidic and creamy taste. ?Unfortunately, the restaurant has a new menu with only three types of ramen instead of seven as it was then and they were even new. The supposedly spicy Miso Ramen we ordered wasn't spicy at all and unfortunately the broth didn't meet my taste. It tasted like regular soybean paste from an asian grocery store and the noodles were very short. I couldn't taste the minced meat or couldn't find it in the broth. I hope that the old menu will come back or that at least the many delicious Ramen from back then will be integrated into the new menu . ?♀️The waitress was very friendly and kept asking about our wellbeing. ?In my opinion the restaurant looks nice. It is japanese in style and recently has japanese partitions between the tables. ?The restaurant can easily be reached by tram as the station is right in front of the restaurant . ?Food: ?4/5 ?5/5 ?1/5 ?♀️Service 4/5 ?Ambiance 4/5 ?Location 4/5
my favorite ramen place! donkotsu ramen is its speicality only telephone or visit reservation available, i know not easy to reach them... Butttt, it's worth it! fresh japanese beer available try ramen with other dishes(today's fish menu, appetiser, etc)
I have lived in Frankfurt for quite some time and this is hands down the best restaurant (opinion) and ramen in the city. This is even better than the ramen I have had in San Francisco. All the other starters and desserts are amazing as well and the staff are absolutely lovely. The atmosphere is so soothing and I always feel great coming here. I highly recommend coming here.
All were delicious. Great great satisfaction! ! Except for 〆's ramen. . .. I was a little disappointed because the others were delicious. The taste was a little too strong though. If you like a really strong taste, it may suit you.
Frankfurt's best ramen. I would like to eat here once a week. However, you have to reserve a table relatively early as it is always very booked.
??
Outstanding service, delicious traditional Japanese food. Highly recommended
Sorry but I don't understand the hype. The people working there was so helpful and friendly. Restaurant itself and the restrooms were clean. Felt very safe with the new hygiene regulations. But most importantly the taste was not as expected. We ordered gyoza and miso ramen. Maybe that was not the good choice but ramen tastes bland. Is the menu different from usual in the corona? I went to eat ramen, but I was disappointed that there was only shime ramen, and there was nothing like noodles or char siu. It's a pandemic, so it's unavoidable that the menu is different from usual, but if so, I should have written it on the HP or had an explanation. It was very different from the ramen picture I saw on sns. But the shop is beautiful and the clerk is very kind, so ★ 2 The taste was light when I ate the noodles. It's a pity that the soup is thick and delicious. Almost everyone I know in Japan recommends it, but I don't know why it's not good enough. I don't have to go anymore.
Definitely reserve, otherwise you have to wait a bit (or take it with you). Very good food, incredibly friendly service who advises you very well (sake number 6 goes with mussel :)) and great atmosphere. Absolute recommendation!
Excellent ramen and service!
The best Ramen in Frankfurt and better than many I tried in Japan. No matter whether you prefer Miso or Tonkotsu Ramen, you won't regret a cent spent here. Muku also boasts an excellent selection of side dishes, starters and sake. The attentive, friendly and polite staff ensures that every stay feels like a little trip to Japan. Thanks for the good work and see you soon!
Great little restaurant that I was introduced to by a japanese colleague. Have been several times after and everytime I had consistently great service from the staff and good tasting food. Menu is not big but items taste fresh and flavorful. I've also been back with other japanese friends and colleagues and I've been told its very original and typical to what youd find in japan. It is definitely wort a try, I've never been dissapointed. I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you get food.
Great food, interesting wine list and great Sake collection. If in Frankfurt you must check it out.
Amazing food and service! Definitely worth trying
For ones that look for authenticity. Just don't forget to book in advance.
Crazy Good Ramen. Probably the best you‘ll find in Germany. But this isn‘t a ramen shop, it’s more like a full on dining experience. You can choose your own menu from a large variety of small but very interesting dishes, all of which is fairly priced. They also have a great selection of japanese liquor and natural wines. Will try to come here more often!
Great food, attention to detail, great service and authentic Japanese food.
What an experience! We were lucky enough to be able to reserve a table and taste the most delicious ramen I’ve ever had. The service was fantastic and very patient. If you can’t get enough of the ramen, you can take a ‘ramen packet’ and cook it at home. Even though I don’t live in Frankfurt, I’ll be coming back for sure!
Very nice ambient With a very nice music and good service Delicious Ramen and I loved the Ebi tempura? It’s quite full every time so Reservations are recommended I would go back again!
Recently changed menu, but still very tasty Japanese cuisine. A lot of sake.
Great ambience and great food. Excellent and friendly bartender who gives great hints of what to order
If you go at 5pm there will be spots.
Starters are very good - would recomend sushimi. Ramen was ok.
Best ramen restaurant in town; possibly the "best restaurant period" in my opinion. Amazing food and service and very good prices. Their main specialty is ramen, a Japanese noodle soup. I cannot describe how good it is, it's something one has to experience. The menu has changed during these years to include other specialities from the Japanese cuisine, but if you visit the restaurant for the first time I would order Ramen (unless soup is a no go for you :|). But worry not, they offer an equally good selection of Japanese tapas and small dishes (karaage!) for those who want to eat something else and they have vegetarian options too. There is Japanese beer (Kirin), some special drinks and Sake, of course. Book in advance because they're usually full.
Simply the BEST ! ! !
Incredible food and experience! Both ramen and appertizers were impecable as well as the service.
The best ramen I have ever had in Europe. SUPER friendly staff. Amazing knowledge in Saké. Tip, try the Ebi-mayo on their menu and also some Sashimi. Seriously good! Big recommendations.
Fantastic
I had huge expectations for this restaurant, but it turned out to be such a mediocre place with no service whatsoever. Sashimi of 3 types of fish was a shame, small pieces, serving certainly not appropriate, small portion, not even worth of taking a picture. Summer rolls - okay, Muku ramen had too fatty broth, 1 slice of pork and noodles. Absolutely not anything special. Completely don’t understand a hustle around this place, if you want to have a nice dinner go to Zenzakan. For 1 time only and for Ramen fans.
Casual and relaxing. Great sashimi, oysters everything super fresh. The ramen also superb.
Best Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt. Ramen is fantastic!
I recommend this address The Muku restaurant is one of the best Asian restaurants in Frankfurt. For our first night in the city we found this address, there will be some waiting if you have not booked. We did well to wait until we ate well. You will also find vegetarian dishes.
No seats without reservation, but no reservation possible since they don't pick up the phone. No other means of communication is offered. Also, illegal "Impressum" to avoid customer communication. I guess they just don't like customers...
We have tried to make a reservation many times. But they never ever pick up a phone call. It's impossible to reserve a table.
Amazing tsukemen!
